A MacDonald family-owned gathering place that has been a cornerstone of the community for 50 years.
A door county tradition since 1975
Some bars serve drinks. Bayside Tavern serves stories. For 50 years, this Fish Creek staple has been more than just a watering hole—it’s been a gathering place for locals, visitors, and generations of families and friends. Whether you’re toasting to a Door County sunset, catching a Packers game, or swapping fish tales over a cold one, there’s always room for one more at Bayside Tavern.

A LEGACY OF GOOD TIMES
It all started in 1975 when “Smilen” Bob and Elaine “EMac” MacDonald packed up their six kids, left Green Bay, and took a leap of faith on a small tavern in Fish Creek. What followed was decades of good times, lifelong friendships, and a whole lot of Bayside tradition.
